New Digs and a New Shop!

Lots of things have changed since I accidentally blew up this blog. (Oops. Sorry about that.)

Not the least of which is I've moved.

It's pretty exciting. I love my new house. It was a gift from a really nice couple I met at Norm's Dollhouse. It was totally finished and wallpapered and everything. Ready to move in!

It's really spacious, but so far all I can show you is the living room and the kitchen.

I'm still getting moved in, and upstairs is a mess. But what I really, REALLY want to show you is downstairs.

This is a really interesting house. I can't say I've seen anything quite like it. It's got a separate basement level, which I have big plans for.

It's down there.

Okay, so it doesn't look like much yet. So I'm asking you to just think about potential, okay? Potential.

This will (someday soon) be Miranda's Book Den!

Pretty soon. I've got books coming. It'll be like an annex to C&M Books and Coffee while that's in limbo.

I don't know if I can set it up to do coffee or not. But it'll be okay even without it.

I kind of see it as just a relaxing place to hang out and read books on a comfy couch. Just for me if no one else figures out it's here.

So yeah, I've got a lot more work to do. Thanks for stopping by so I could show you the new place. I'll have more to show you soon, hopefully. Once the books arrive and stuff, and I get upstairs a little more organized.

Talk to you again soon!

- Miri

  8. Wow, you guys. Thank you so much. You know how to make a pixie feel all warm and fuzzy, that's for sure.

C&M is currently closed. Lots of stuff got shuffled around here in the Wylde Kingdom. A lot of dolls left. Some are still leaving. But I really want to still have a book shop, it Wendy will just quit selling off my customers!!!

We'll be around. I'll be around, anyway. As long as you guys want to hear about me, I'll tell you.

    have a great weekend!

  9. Sooo Incredibly Happy to see you back! Miranda is so inspiring I actually had bought a little Giennie Lilica years ago and spent the last several weeks looking at her and feeling somewhat comforted just having a little memory of Miranda. I have never pictured her because Miranda is a wonderful creation of yours, my little doll just reminds me of her.

If you ever get to the place you did before just put the blog on "Private" setting for awhile, that way noone can see it, but its still all there.

I also use Blog To Print every so often and have book copies of TiGGys blog, its just sort of cool to me to have.

Thank you so Much for bringing Miranda back!

  10. Wow, Tiggy. Thank you. It's pretty awesome to be back playing with Miranda. I missed her more than I thought I would, and I can make time for both Miranda and my own life. Turns out, I can include her! We both went Jeeping today and it was awesome.

Anyway, it's funny about the Lilicas. I got Miranda because of a Lilica named Fee, and because Denver Doll Emporium happened to have her when I walked in one day. I picked her up and she said "Ask the nice ladies for my box, you're taking me home." and that was that. She's very different personality wise from Fee, but they're both adorable and awesome. You should let your Lilica become whoever she would like, and even if she turns out to have red hair, oddly enough, a lot of Lilicas do. :) Go for it!

Eventually someday Miranda's blog/life may get printed out. We'll have to see. That's a lot of pages. :)

Thank you so much for WANTING Miranda to come back. It means a lot that people care about my dumb little stories. Thank you. :)

  13. Fee and I are glad you're back (and glad to see other Lilicas joining the fold, be they redheads or not). Your new house is lovely, lucky you to have such generous fans!

Is the exodus from the Kingdom complete now?

  14. Hey Clochette! Thanks! It's nice to be back. It's funny about Lilicas, even though they don't make us anymore, people still love us. Pretty cool.

Well, and what's not to love, right?

I am still amazed someone GAVE me a house. Especially one like this. It's amazing, and beautiful. I might tweak a couple things, but really, it's perfect. :)

I think more dolls are still set to leave the Kingdom, but I don't know when. It's never been up to me. I just keep myself busy in my book store and keep being grateful I'm not one of the ones on Ebay.

Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words!

  15. Miri!!! Oh my goodness have I ever missed you and now I find you're back and I missed that too! I don't know what the world is coming to, but our world at least, still includes YOU!

I've heard there's a little thing here called a Lilica and her name is Poppet. She knows Fee and actually stayed with her for a couple of days many years ago before moving here, but that was long before I came. I won't speak to her, of course... I'm a vampire and out in the dark while she's sleeping, but still... it is always nice to hear of friends meeting across the wonders of this electronic age.

I have madly read all your entries and then decided to comment here. I know that is back to front, but then vampires aren't known for being on normal wave lengths, at least, I'm not. I love your new house and the book den is perfect. I'll have to get a minion to read to me. *cough* she can't read *cough* Shush you, it's only because I broke my head bonez and don't tell the world. *cough*you need glasses and your too vain to get them*cough* Don't listen to her, Miri.

I loved the jeep and mountain riding. We have sea and tiny forest and fieldz and very big hillz but no mountainz. The sea is my favourite place and my Guardianz.

I am so glad to have you back. I'll have to claim my own blog back as there seems to be an influx of little and large tinies round here. Hmmm.... I smell stinky feet. LOL
